A strategy is being finalised for tracking the agricultural tools manufacturing industry on modern lines and its up-gradation in Punjab.
Official sources told Business Recorder here on Friday that under the programme government would extend all possible technical support and guidance, for the up-gradation and capacity building, to agricultural tools manufacturing units in Punjab.
Special attention would also be focused on upgradation of existing industrial units of Daska tehsil of Sialkot district which is known for manufacturing various type of agricultural gears with traditional technology and catering the requirements of farmers community since long.
Punjab government has decided to extend full support, guidance and loan facility for modernisation and upgrading of their industrial units enabling them to fulfil domestic needs easily.
