The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Punjab has arrested a drug peddler, with a sizeable quantity of charas, weighing 40 kilogram, in the provincial metropolis. He was carrying the drugs on his motorbike.
According to details, on receiving secret information, the ANF officials constituted a special raiding team, which arrested the accused near Azam Marriage Hall, Yadgar Chowk. He had concealed the charas in a plastic bag and was carrying it on his bike (LZY-3241). He was identified as Shaukat Ali son of Abdul Razaaq. The ANF officials have registered a case against the accused and started investigation. More arrests were expected following investigations.
