Moorland University, USA has conferred honorary PhD degree in International Relations (IR) on Shahid Rashid Butt, the Honorary Consul General of Ghana and former president Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on recognition of his outstanding consul services.
The government of the Republic of Ghana has by commission appointed Shahid Rashid Butt as Hon. Consul General at Islamabad with jurisdiction all over the country in 1995 and is rendering his consul services so far.
He is a renowned businessman (carpet exporter) of the country and one of the founder members of ICCI and has been its president twice in 1992 and 1994.-PR
