Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) has hailed the decision of the government to spend 4 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on education sector.
In a press statement issued here on Sunday, PTU President Raja Zafeer Ahmed Sati, Central General Secretary Chaudhry Taj Haider, Joint Secretary Allah Bukhsh Qaisar and other office-bearers have said that the decision to spend 4 percent of GDP on education is laudable step.
