A total of 30,000 tents and 3,00,000 blankets have been dispatched to effected areas of AJK and NWFP while over 3,000 tents and 68,000 blankets are available at PAF Base Chaklala, the main base from where the relief goods are being dispatched to forward areas, ISPR said here on Sunday.
During last 24 hours nine-vehicles of load comprising relief goods were distributed in district Shangla in NWFP. Similarly 72 helicopters sorties undertook relief and rescue operation and evacuated 104 casualties and transport 10,610 kg of relief goods in Batgram, Kala Dhaka, Balakot, Alai, Shinkiari, Battal, Chattar Plain, Serian, Sanghai, Bunja, Jured, Kaghan, Naran and Ghari Habibullah.
In Abbottabad an NGO established a tent village comprising 30 tents where 142 victims were shifted who have been displaced due to earthquake.
