MPA acquitted in Akora Khattak case

The anti terrorism court (ATC) here on Tuesday acquitted Khalil Abbas MPA and others charged for murdering four persons in the famous Akora Khattak incident.
Judge ATC, Shahjee Rehman after hearing the long arguments of defence counsels and prosecution acquitted all the accused.
Khalil Abbas and other accused including Sattar Khan, Abdul Malak, Haji Abdul Majid, Haji Nasim, Muhammad Faiq, Niaz Ali, Imanullah, Imran and Zulfiqar were produced in the anti terrorism court on Tuesday where their defence counsels and prosecution made arguments.
The defence counsel prayed before the court that there are no proper evidences against their clients therefore, they should be acquitted.
In Akora Khattak incident four persons including Tajamul, Fahim and Abdul Wahid were killed and seven other critically injured when they were allegedly charged for opening indiscriminate firing at the jubilation procession, celebrating success in LG polls of a newly elected Nazim, Pir Zulfiqar Ali Shah.
