88 trucks sent to quake-hit areas

As many as 88 trucks carrying ration and other relief goods including blankets, quilts, medicine, tents, tarpaulins, coffins, and woollen shawls etc have been sent to the quake-hit areas from Sialkot so far.
Official sources told Business Recorder here on Wednesday that six trucks were sent to Muzaffarabad, 35 trucks to Manserhra/Shinkiari, 14 to Abbottabad, 2 to Balakot, 8 to Bagh, 2 to Ghazi Abad, 4 to Deer kot and 15 trucks to Rawalpindi relief camp.
In addition to 2000-tonne Atta, 34.3-tonne ghee, 72-tonne rice, sugar 29.8-tonne sugar and 2.4-tonne tea had also been dispatched to various quake-stricken areas of the country.
Besides, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) also dispatched 42 trucks of ration and other relief goods to quake-hit areas of the country.
