Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 98,538 tonnes of cargo including 55,593 tonnes import and 42,538 tonnes export cargo including 4,693 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 75,938 tonnes dry cargo including 60,305 tonnes general cargo; 3,803 tonnes sugar; 9,762 tonnes fertiliser; 2,068 tonnes rice and 22,600 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely Apl Cairo, Jade Trader, Maersk Arizona, Hun Jiang, MT Shalamar, Pacific Acadian and Fiona 7 sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Corinthiakos, Sinar Bontang, Hyundai Highway, Global Tianjin, Jade Trader and Kota Teguh are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Canmar Success and Challenge Express are expected to sail on Friday.
Three vessels viz Adhidaya, Golden Express and AO Noble due to arrive on Thursday, while six ships namely Al Marwah, MMM Kingston, Kota Mesra, Sagamore, Evropl and Hajer are due to arrive on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 9,209 tonnes edible oil; 4,220 tonnes wheat; 599 tonnes sugar; 410 tonnes jute and 35,326 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely MT Akademic Semenov, CV Asian Trader, MV Lion Princess and AO Noble sailed out to sea during the report period, while two vessels viz CV Cma Cgm Kingston and MT Bum Mi are expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.
A total of six vessels viz Dubai, Msc Dymphna, Amanat, Al Maqwa, Captain P. Eggfezos and Tian Da are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Msc Dymphna, Amanat and Al Maqwa due to take berths on Thursday.
Three ships namely MT Yanaseni, Al Marwah and CV Saudi Hofuf due to arrive on Thursday, while another container ship Ville de Mars is due to arrive on Friday.
