MOL-Group plans to donate $0.2 million more

MOL-Group of Hungarian company has planned to contribute $0.2 million to rehabilitation and reconstruction process in quake-hit areas. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday.
MOL-group Pakistan general manager Gabor Vakarcs said that the company had contributed $0.5 million to the immediate relief efforts in the quake-hit areas and would also contribute $200,000 more.
Out of this amount, $100,000 would be spent on the reconstruction and the remaining on food, medicine and other essential items for the affectees.
He further said that a rescue team of the group and Slovakian specialists are also engaged in search, rescue and decontamination in the affected areas and has disinfected the residential areas of the whole of Balakot and adjoining four villages.
The team led by Jan Culka informed the media that it has decontaminate approximately 70,000 liters of water to be able to use and a further 50,000 liters is being disinfected, and the team was also able to cater medically 150 patients.
Ambassador of Hungary to Pakistan Bela Vakarcs said on the occasion that natural disaster does not care for the geographical boundaries and the efforts for alleviating the suffering of the affectees should also be made beyond boundaries.
