LSE emergency relief for quake victims

The management and members of Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE), fulfilling their social and moral responsibility, have extended emergency relief to the affected people of earthquake in Balakot.
The LSE, in this regard, has established a fund and the members as well as management of the exchange have generously contributed to this fund. In addition to this, the LSE employees have also donated their one day-salary in this fund.
LSE, in co-ordination with the Jahandad Society for Community Development, has distributed goods including, blankets, tents, cooking utensils, generator, diesel, kerosene lamps, kerosene oil and other items to the affectees of Balakot where a tent city with 200 tents is also being established, says a press release.
