A delegation of the Delhi Sikh Gurdawara Parbandhak Committee, an administrative committee of the Gurdawaras in the federal capital of India, called on the Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Saturday and presented to him the relief goods for the earth-stricken in the country.
Head of the delegation, Harvinder Singh Sarna informed the chief minister that Parbandhak Committee had, so far, donated as many as 35,000 blankets, 3,400 tents, 35,000 meter polythene sheets and drugs over worth Rs 500,000.
The chief minister thanked the Sikh community for the relief goods.
