The second batch of tents which Jamaat-i-Islami has purchased from Saudi Arabia to set up tent villages for the quake victims reached Islamabad from Jeddah on Saturday.
A Saudi Airlines chartered plane was assigned to transport this consignment comprising 2,000 tents on special instructions of Prince Sultan. Further 8,000 tents will be transported to Pakistan soon through six flights. It may be mentioned that JI has planned to provide around 50,000 tents to set up tent villages in Muzaffarabad, Balakot and Rawalkot.
