Egypt buys 120,000 tonnes of Australian and US wheat

Egypt's main official wheat buyer said on Saturday he had bought 120,000 tonnes of US and Australian wheat for December 1-10 shipment. Mahmoud Abdel-Hamid, vice chairman of the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), told Reuters he had bought the following cargoes:
-- 60,000 tonnes of US soft white wheat at $133.70/tonne FOB from Louis Dreyfus, for shipment from the US West Coast and 60,000 tonnes of Australian hard wheat at $171.70/tonne FOB from the Australian Wheat Board.
