Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 103,547 tonnes of cargo including 76,972 tonnes import and 26,575 tonnes export cargo including 3,348 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 67,782 tonnes dry cargo including 53,566 tonnes general cargo; 3,118 tonnes sugar; 8,945 tonnes fertiliser; 2,153 tonnes rice and 35,765 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Kota Teraju, Golden Express, YM Faha, Canmar Success and Lalazar sailed out to sea during the report period.
Seven vessels viz Nan King, Al Marwah, Conti Esperance, YM Faha, Kota Mesra, Iran Yamin, and Sagamore are currently at the berths.
Seven ships namely Al Marwah, Global Tianjin, Sinar Bontang, Sagamore, Adhidaya, Conti Esperance and Corinthiakos expected to sail on Saturday, while another ship Pearl is expected to sail on Sunday.
Two vessels viz Bunga Delima and Kota Merdesa due to arrive on Saturday, while three ships namely United Prosperity, Bei Hai and Santa Fe are due to arrive on Sunday.
Seven ships namely MMM Kingston, Santa Bhum, Hanjin Busan, Thor Captain, Hajer, Iran Sarbaz and Paige are due to arrive on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 7,724 tonnes edible oil; 9,377 tonnes wheat and 31,246 tonnes containerised cargo.
Five ships namely CV Dubai, Msc Dymphna, Ville De Mars, Amanat and Al Maqwa sailed out to sea during the report period, while two vessels viz CV Saudi Hofuf and edible oil carrier MT Gemini are expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of two vessels viz P&O Ned Los Angeles and Tian Da are currently at the outer anchorage.
Container vessel P&O Ned Los Angeles due to take berth on Saturday.
Chemicals carrier MT Al Marwah and bulk cargo carrier MV Europi due to arrive on Saturday, while another chemicals carrier MT Yanaseni is due to arrive on Sunday.
