PML observes Dua for quake victims

Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Defence and Defence Production, Senator Nisar Ahmed Memon on Sunday appealed to the people to avoid donating old or used clothes and said tents and more medicines are needed in the quake-hit areas.
He said this while addressing people after Quran Khawani and Dua organised by Pakistan Muslim League (Karachi).
Nisar Memon, who is also Co-ordinator of Federal Relief Commissioner paid tributes to people of the country particularly to doctors and people of Karachi for their active participation in quake relief operations.
He said Pakistan International Airlines, Railways, National Logistic Cell and other public and private departments and organisation were working whole-heartedly for the survivors.
He added that this is the time to cooperate with each other and provide maximum relief to our affected countrymen.
Earlier, President PML, Karachi, Bostan Ali Hoti, PML Secretary Karachi Chapter, Amanullah Paracha also spoke on the occasion.
