Faithful throng Makkah

The Ramazan rush in the holy city of Makkah by the faithful from within the country and abroad is now at its peak as over two million Muslims are praying in Masjid Al-Haram and performing the 'Tawaf' around the Holy Kabaatullah round the clock.
The scene in the Haram is soul-lifting with almost every second reverberating with the loud sound of recitation of the Holy Quran and the prayer calls that issue forth five times in twenty-four hours.
The presence at congregations for prayers exceeds over two million, five times in the day. During the fasting hours, the biggest crowd is in the precincts of the Masjid Al Haram in Makkah with the faithful present from across the Muslim world.
