The first flight of Thai International Airways will land at Islamabad International Airport with passengers on November 2. A ceremony has been arranged to receive the flight at the airport where Minister for Tourism, Dr Ghazi Ghulab Jamal will be chief guest.
Meanwhile, Minister for Tourism on Sunday said Thai Airways will be starting their operation from Bangkok directly to Islamabad and back.
He said the government has given approval to enhance tourism of Pakistan. Keeping in mind the present circumstances, the flight would be helpful in relief and rehabilitation efforts for quake victims, he said and added it would also indeed boost the spirit of co-operation.
