EO Pakistan has arranged 'Learner Event' with an entrepreneurial speaker Allon Raiz in Lahore. Allon Raiz, from South Africa, toured Dubai and India on his way to Pakistan and found it to be exciting and entertaining to be here, said a press release here on Wednesday.
EO member and Learner Chairman S M Naveed of Din Textiles arranged dinner in the honour of guest.
Allon commented on Pakistan being a 'hidden secret'. He further added that he had a very opposite idea of the facilities here and was very pleased to find lush gardens, beautiful roads and above all very warm people, the release said.
Allon also experienced the spirit of Ramazan, while attending an Iftari arranged for him at the EO Pakistan Chapter President's house.
In the presentation, Allon spoke about different traits of a successful entrepreneur to more than 25 people including members and guests from thriving businesses. He put emphasis on the courage of an entrepreneur and the risks that they had to take to grow and build their companies.
He was of the view that successful entrepreneurs should not only invest in themselves and try new things but also play a mentor with new arrivals in the industry in order to share knowledge and to have a flourishing economy.
Allon Raiz, Doctorate in Entrepreneurial Studies, is known for his knack of reviving ailing businesses. Involved in over 19 different businesses a retail clothing line, a Sausage Factory, a Vehicle Security Company, are some of the examples. His company Raizcorp is one of the only privately held profitable business incubators on the African continent.-PR
