The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) on Wednesday said that its all complaint centers would be fully functioning during the Eid holidays to facilitate the citizens.
In this regard, KW&SB Managing Director Brigadier Iftikhar Haider instructed engineers of the water board to take steps to keep the complaint centres working during the Eid holidays, so that complaints of citizens could be redressed without delay.
It may be recalled that these complaint centres are also working during the month of Ramazan-ul-Mobarak.
According to the instructions of the KWSB managing director, the complaints centres in four districts would work during the Eid holidays in two shifts from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, while the central complaint centre at KW&SB head office would work 24 hours. The telephone number of the central complaint centre is 9231221.
The KW&SB has appealed to the citizens to lodge their complaints on the following telephone numbers: Chief Engineer Water Supply (9231227, 9231218), Chief Engineer Sewerage Disposal (9230317), SE Water
Supply district West (2568705), district South (9204346), district Central (6982292) and district East (9237017).
