Private hospitals providing treatment to quake victims

Provincial Minister for Special Education Qudsia Lodhi has said besides government hospitals, private hospitals were also providing treatment and other facilities to the earthquake victims.
She expressed these views while inquiring after earthquake victims at Ghurki Hospital Lahore on Thursday. She maintained Ghurki Hospital was providing quality health facilities to earthquake victims at par with the government hospitals. There were 35 patients in Ghurki Hospital at present while 75 had been discharged after treatment.
Khalid Ghurki informed on this occasion that 200 beds had been allocated for calamity-stricken people in the hospital.
The Minister asked about the well being of patients individually who expressed their satisfaction over the medical facilities and food being provided to them at the hospital. She said people of Pakistan had proved they were a living nation and infused with the spirit of service and patriotism.
