Army starts rehabilitation work

Pakistan Army troops employed in various parts of the earthquake stricken areas to carry out relief and rescue operations, have started undertaking many-fold tasks of rehabilitation.
The rehabilitation task include reconstruction of buildings including schools, psychiatry treatment by doctors, removal of rubble, repair and maintenance of roads.
In various areas of NWFP, seven primary and high schools have been established during last few days where students started their educational activities.
In Battal and Gul Maira two new schools - a primary and a girl high school have been established by troops of an Armour Regiment. A High School building has been repaired where 16 teachers have started imparting education to 75 students.
Another three schools have been established at Chatterplain. A new primary and a high school have been set up while the building of an old high school has been repaired where 991 students have started their studies.
Troops of an Azad Kashmir Regiment have opened a primary school at Balakot with 108 students.
