Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain President Pakistan Muslim League chairing a meeting of the party here on Sunday reviewed ongoing activities for the relief and rehabilitation of earthquake relief activities.
Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and others were present on the occasion.
Shujaat appreciated role of office bearers and workers of PML-Q in relief efforts in tremor hit areas. He said present government was providing all out resources for the relief and assistance of devastated people and said PML-Q workers were continuously dispatching relief aid to the far flung earthquake hit areas.
He also emphasised the need for further accelerating relief activities for the earthquake-victims.
Punjab Chief Minister on the occasion said that provincial government had taken effective measures for permanent rehabilitation of calamity-hit people and relief assistance was continuously supplied to the devastated areas. He said provincial government was providing relief assistance beyond its capacity. He directed the relief activities to be further expedited during the meeting.
