Relief goods from CII to arrive today

A consignment of relief goods comprising blankets, sweaters and shirts dispatched by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be reaching here Sunday noon through Wahga border.
Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is expected to receive these goods along with other government officials and representatives of business community.
Vice-President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Aftab Vohra told Business Recorder here on Saturday that this consignment of relief goods includes: 6000 blankets, 1000 sweaters, 4500 shirts and medicines.
Office-bearers and executive committee members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) will also be present on this occasion to receive relief goods from the CII.
It may be worth mentioned here that the LCCI had earlier too imported tents, blankets and medicines from India for the assistance of earthquake battered people.
