Ruling party councillors join PML-N

Ruling party councillors (PML-Q) from NA-127 Lahore have joined the PML-N, while the high party leadership have approved their joining. Khawajah Saad Rafique, PML-N central leader, disclosed this during a press conference held here on Sunday.
Zaeem Qadri, PML-N General Secretary Punjab, Pervaiz Malik, PML-N Central Secretary Finance and other PML-N leader were also present on the occasion. He welcomed the defection of the PML-Q political figures to the N-League and said that the PML-Q, a brainchild of the military regime, was a like a house of cards that would fall very soon.
He criticised the government for mismanagement of the relief work in the quake-hot areas and added that it has failed to in the task of proving relief to the earthquake victims. He alleged that army was torturing and arresting the Kashmiris at the Line of Control (LoC), which was giving a bad image to the country.
Other PML-N leaders said that formation of forward bloc in the PML-Q reflects the ruling part's poor performance and bad attitude. Let it be clear that there was no future under the leadership of General Pervez Musharraf, they added.
