Five 'Pappu' dacoit gang men held

The Model Town police have arrested five members of 'Pappu' dacoit gang, and recovered stolen motorbikes, cash, cell phones, and weapons from their possession.
According to police, the criminals were looting a passers-by near Small Estate No 2 when a police party, led by SHO Model Town Inspector Imran Abbas Chadhar, arrested them. The outlaws were identified as Tanvir alias Pappu, Sarwar, Mohammad Khan, Mohammad Younas, and Arshad alias Kalu.
The police also recovered four motorcycles, Rs 100,000 cash, eight mobile phones, gold ornaments, and lethal weapons from them. DPO Dr Arif Mushtaq Chaudhry has announced cash prizes and commendation certificates to the raiding police team members.
