15 Nov, 2005

Lahore Township Industries Association (LTIA) has expressed its grave concern over increase in the incident of dacoities, thefts and lawlessness. It claimed that police are playing the role of mere silent spectators while masses and business community were feeling themselves insecure.
These views were observed by the Association members at an emergency meeting, presided over by its Chairman Nasrullah Mughal and attended by Mian Abuzar Shad, Iqbal Baig Chughtai, Nadir Kamal Usman, and others.
Nasrullah Mughal called upon Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervai Elahi to take stringent measures to curb the incidents of dacoity and theft; otherwise it could leave negative impact on business activities.
