Feeling the need to provide access to reliable information to the policy makers, planners, researchers and the general public interested in the higher education sector in Pakistan for their day to day needs, the Higher Education Commission has begun to display all the statistics on higher education sector of Pakistan on the HEC website.
The website contains all the information provided by 101 universities and degree awarding institutions of Pakistan, which has been compiled for the use of general public.
The website contains information for the period of three years from 2001 to 2004 besides other relevant data of gender wise enrolment by level of degree and area, details about faculty, academics programmes and students produced by the public and private sector universities and degree awarding institutions of Pakistan.
