AZFAM technologies becomes Oracle's WDP partner

AZFAM Technologies (Private) Limited have become an Oracle Workforce Development Programme (WDP) partner to provide training for Oracle Certified Administrator (OCA) and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) courses.
A statement here on Wednesday says, AZFAM Technologies - a franchisee of APTECH Computer Education at Garden Centre recently inked the agreement with Oracle.
Under the agreement, AZFAM Technologies, under the WDP partnership, will be authorised to provide Oracle courses for DBA and Developer's track of OCP programme.
AZFAM Technologies Chief Executive Officer Aziz Hussain said, "Garden Centre was the first APTECH Centre in Pakistan to offer Higher National Diploma (HND) of Edexcel United Kingdom."
The institute is the first to become a local academy of Cisco under the ITU-Cisco regional academy programme, and is now the first APTECH Centre in Pakistan to be associated with Oracle.
The international affiliations will most certainly help AZFAM Academy to become a centre of excellence in providing information technology (IT) education". AZFAM's mission statement is 'empowerment through technology'.
Students attending OCA/OCP training would receive original course material of Oracle, and entitled to 40 per cent discount on Oracle Certification exams, which will now be also conducted at the same premises.
