Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain called on the Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Thursday and discussed programmes undertaken by the government and PML for relief, rescue and rehabilitation in the earthquake affected areas.
During the meeting, held at PM House, the Prime Minister appreciated many initiatives by PML in earthquake affected areas and said all political parties should actively participate in the relief programme for early rehabilitation of those areas.
The party matters also came under discussion in the meeting. The Prime Minister said Muslim League had full confidence in the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
It is important that party platform may be further strengthened under the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain for development of country and prosperity of the common man, he added. The Prime Minister said as already suggested by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain internal differences among party members should be resolved through negotiations within the party.
