Islamabad police said on Friday they have arrested eight criminals and recovered stolen items and illegal weapons from them. According to the police spokesman, the arrested criminals have confessed during the preliminary investigation for being involved in several robbery cases.
He hoped that ongoing investigation would lead to recovery of more stolen items.
As a result of a vigorous campaign, Capital police succeeded in capturing these outlaws with fire arms and recovering the stolen items from them, he said.
The SSP, Islamabad has lauded the performance of those police officers who arrested these outlaws and announced to give them commendation certificates.
