Balochistan always provided needed resources: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday said the federal government has always provided the required resources to Balochistan and added that more resources would be made available to Balochistan after the finalisation of National Finance Commission Award.
He was talking to Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Muhammad Yousuf who called on him here at the Prime Minister House.
Shaukat Aziz said the federal government was paying special attention to the development of less developed areas of the country.
The Balochistan Chief Minister congratulated the Prime Minister on the success of donors' conference.
He said this showed the stature of Pakistan and its leadership in the eyes of world community. He said the government has taken a timely initiative which will help in early rehabilitation of earthquake-affected areas.
Some financial matters and law and order situation in Balochistan came under discussion during the meeting.
The Prime Minister directed the Chief Minister Balochistan to maintain law and order in the province, which he said was critical in good governance, trade and investment activities.
Chief Minister Balochistan thanked the Prime Minister for his special attention to Balochistan.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of State for Petroleum, Minister for Finances Balochistan, Minister for Planning and Development Balochistan.
