Nine killed, 20 injured in accidents

Nine persons were killed, while 20 others were injured in various road accidents, here on Sunday. In the first accident, three passengers, including conductor, were died and more than 10 injured, five of them seriously, when a Faisalabad-bound passenger bus FDO-9534 turned turtle near a village 77-GB.
The fully packed bus was coming from Bhawalnagar. Injured persons, including Manzoor Ahmad, Ahmad Yar, Shahbaz Ahmad, Mohammad Yasin, Akbar Ali, Yasin, Imran, Saeed, Kausar Bibi, Zubaida, Tahira, Javed, Shafi, Sarfraz and Mubarik Ali were shifted to Civil Hospital Satiana, Zia Hospital Khanuana, and Allied Hospital Faisalabad, where five of them reported to have been in serious condition.
In another accident, two persons including a woman were died, while six others injured in a head-on-collision between truck and Suzuki van on Faisalabad-Sargodha road near 100 Janubi.
According to details, some families were coming to Faisalabad in a Suzuki Van FSF-6611 from Jauharabad to attend a marriage ceremony. When the vehicle reached near 100 Janubi, it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction in view to avoid a buffalo.
Zainab Bibi, daughter of Rahmat Ali and her relative Nazir Alam died on the spot, while six persons, including driver Abdul Hamid, Ghulam Abbas and Hameedan Bibi removed to hospital in serious condition.
In third accident, a milk seller Mukhtar Ahmad was crushed to death by passenger bus near Nishatabad over head bridge, when he was returning to village Chandian Tillawan on his motorcycle.
Three persons including a woman were also killed in separate road mishaps.
