Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 91,583 tonnes of cargo including 63,491 tonnes import and 28,092 tonnes export cargo including 1,872 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 50,983 tonnes dry cargo including 35,141 tonnes general cargo; 15,842 tonnes bulk cargo and 40,600 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Sixteen ships namely Sinar Bontang, Iran Shahryar, Wan Hai-265, African Leopard, Santa Fe, Teen, MT Swat, Neptune Ace, Sanko Summit, Corinthiakos, Cape Scott, Jade C, Viktor Talalikhin, Satha Bhum, Oriental Salvia and Suez Express sailed out to sea during the report period.
Ten vessels viz Rickmers Mumbai, Wilma, Erikousa, MT Shalamar, Iran Yamin, Satha Bhum, Jade C, Cape Scott, Berana and Kota Jasa are currently at the berths.
MT Wilma expected to sail on Monday, while six vessels viz Kota Jasa, MT Shalamar, Iran Yamin, Rickmers Mumbai, Yang Jiang He and Maersk Alaska expected to sail on Tuesday.
Four vessel viz Global Prosperity, Yang Jiang He, Apl Orchid and Parinda Naree due to arrive on Monday, while four ships namely Thor Captain, Ponl Buenos Aires, Sea Beta and Toranglia are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 25,600 tonnes HSD oil; 18,113 tonnes wheat; 1,817 tonnes chemicals and 12,795 tonnes iron ore.
MV Chembulk Kobe sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of three vessels viz Sports Queen, Chitral and Happy Clipper are currently at the outer anchorage.
