International symposium begins today

The National Productivity Organisation (NPO), Ministry of Industries, Production and Special Initiatives, is hosting an international symposium on Six Sigma corporations from November 22 to 25 in the provincial metropolis.
According to a spokesman of the NPO, the symposium is aiming at examining the cases and experiences of corporations, implementing six sigma, identifying six sigma best practices and developing common strategies for further advancement of the concept in other APO member countries.
It will also review the position of six sigma in APO member countries, in-company decision processes, company-wide preparations, actual experiences of six sigma implementation, strategies and practical advice for successful implementation of the concept.
The delegates from APO and its 20-member countries, CEOs of corporations implementing six sigma, senior co-ordinators, six sigma black belt project leaders and business/management consultants will attend the symposium.
