NLC sets up helpline centres

23 Nov, 2005

The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) has established three information centres to help the earthquake victims at Lahore, Jhelum and Rawalpindi, as a large number of people has still been missing from the earthquake-affected areas.
Realising the gravity of the situation, the NLC has established these information centres to help people meet their lost family members again and make it back to their homes.
These centres are collecting data about patients from the civil hospitals and clinics. It is thus appealed to the nation to report any gained information about any missing or wounded at the respective NLC Information Centres.
ALL INFORMATION THUS COLLECTED WILL BE POSTED ON THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: http://pakistan.disasterlink.org.
Helpline Lahore: 0800-00052; Rawalpindi 0800-12012; Jhelum 0544-63 1908.
