Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has invited suggestions from exporters for revamping export refinance scheme. According to EPB sources here on Tuesday, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has decided to revise the export finance scheme to further simplify the scheme and reduce documentation.
Similarly, the SBP wanted to enhance the coverage and scope of export finance scheme (EFS) to facilitate exporters, he added. He said that draft of new EFS was already in place and can be referred at the websites of EPB and SBP.
"We need inputs and comments from both direct and indirect exporters for further improving the scheme. The exporters must also forward justifications in support of their suggestions. These inputs and suggestions draft will be forwarded to State Bank for inclusion in the EFS", he added.
