Worldcall launches wireless phone service in NWFP

Worldcall Communication on Wednesday started wireless telephone services in Peshawar, which would be extended to the whole province within a month's time.
Launching the service in NWFP provincial metropolis, Worldcall Communication Chairman Salman Taseer said provision of quality service and satisfaction of customers was the main objective of the company. He said Worldcall was the only national company, which had started wireless telephony service in the country.
"We have already launched wireless services in 15 cities where we have tested all aspects of the system and we are satisfied with its quality," Taseer said. He said in the coming six months, the company would extend wireless services to all parts of the country.
Taseer said the Worldcall wireless service rates were very low and everyone could afford it. He said the rates would gradually be decreased with the increase of its coverage. He said the Worldcall had selected Samsung as its technology partner because it had state of the art technology.
Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), President Ghazanfar Bilour, who was chief guest on the occasion, said Worldcall had earned name within a short period due to its quality of service and said the launching of its service would benefit masses in general and business community in particular.
He thanked Worldcall Communications for launching wireless service in the city and hoped the company would provide modern communication facilities at affordable rates.
