Tunisia buys milling wheat and barley

Tunisian state grains agency Office des Cereales has purchased 125,000 tonnes of milling wheat and 100,000 tonnes of barley in a tender for the same volume which closed on Thursday, European traders said.
The wheat was purchased at prices between $147.94 to $148.36 a tonne C&F. Origin was thought likely to be east European, perhaps Bulgarian. The barley was all purchased at $156.49 tonne C&F. Origin was thought likely to be from the Black Sea.
The wheat is for shipment in five 25,000 tonne consignments starting on December 20 with shipments following in intervals of ten days. The barley is for shipment in four 25,000 tonne consignments starting on December 26 with shipments following in intervals of ten days.
