Pakistan's first international exhibition on machine tools and automation industry, co-locating auto & auto parts industry exhibition, concluded on Saturday here after rewarding its participants with large scale orders and unmatched business leads.
The four-day co-located exhibition "MTAP & AAPP 2005" was inaugurated by Khalid Firoz, ex-president KCCI, on November 23 at the Karachi Expo Centre and was organised by Pakistan's leading trade events organisers Pegasus Consultancy.
During the four days of its conduct, the exhibitors signed several trade contracts and various technology transfer deals remained under negotiation between the local businessmen and the foreign participants.
Exhibitors from Pakistan were particularly satisfied with their participation at the exhibition, which was attended by over 10,000 trade visitors, key decision makers and tradesmen from all over Pakistan as well as from abroad.
According to the organisers, a vast majority of the exhibitors struck small, medium and large-scale orders. Cumulative trade size of the exhibition is estimated at more than 20 million dollars. More than 60 companies from 11 countries participated in the exhibition.
The international participants, on the other hand, have also expressed deep satisfaction over their participation at MTAP & AAPP. As a positive sign of profitable meetings and networking with a large number of highly-targeted audiences and potential trade partners from local markets in Pakistan, a large number of local and foreign participants have already confirmed their participation in the next exhibition.
The second co-located edition of "Machine Tools & Automation Pakistan" and "Auto & Auto Parts Pakistan" has been scheduled in the first week of December 2006 and will feature an even larger array of automobiles, auto parts, machinery and engineering goods.
