Four persons, including three of a family, were shot and killed by gunmen in Chak 471-JB Chakeera Chadharian over an old enmity.
According to details, Allah Ditta was sitting outside his residence along with his son Imtiaz Ahmad, cousin Muhammad Khan and Nasarullah when more than 15 armed men appeared there on a car and motorcycles and opened discriminate firing at them.
All four persons died on the spot. Chak Jhumra police have registered a case and arrested two attackers.
In another incident, Fahadullah 25, resident of Dee Type Colony, was shot and killed, when he resisted in a robbery bid near Iron Market on Dijkot Road.
Unidentified robbers fled away after snatching his motorcycle, leaving him in a pool of blood.
The injured was rushed to the Allied Hospital, where he succumbed to his bullet injuries.
