Singapore share prices are likely to trend lower in the this week or two on a lack of fresh leads, dealers said. DBS Vickers Securities said the Straits Times Index (STI) was forecast to decline to a support level of 2,187 in the next one or two weeks before heading towards 2,100 points.
For the week ending November 25, the STI was at 2,295.73, up only 2.53 points or 0.11 percent from the previous week.
Average daily volume for the week was 706 million shares worth 684 million Singapore dollars (405 million US), down from 739 million shares valued at 737 million dollars a week earlier.
