Russia's long-distance telecom monopoly Rostelekom said on November 22 that it had boosted its first half net profit by 17 percent to 2.82 billion roubles according to International Accounting Standards (IAS).
In a statement, Rostelekom also said first half revenues rose to 19.65 billion roubles from 17.92 billion in the first half of 2004 while OIBDA was up to 7.15 billion roubles from 6.54 billion a year ago.
