Yorkshire Police team visits NH&MP office

National Highways and Motorway Police and South Yorkshire Police, UK are streamlining new parameters in mutual training. This was stated by Inspector General of Police (NH&MP) Ahmad Nasim in a meeting with South Yorkshire Police delegation, which visited NH&MP offices here on Monday.
A six-member delegation of South Yorkshire Police headed by Assistant Chief Constable Robert Dyson visited the Lahore zonal office of NH&MP.
Ahmad Nasim stated that NH&MP has earned enviable reputation due to friendly policing and special emphasis on help, briefing and education to the road users. NH&MP officers are providing numerous helps to commuters on National Highways and Motorway. He also informed that the crime rate has dropped by 76 percent while accident rate has gone down by 74 percent on Highways/Motorways.
The delegation members also visited the Mobile Education Unit and specially praised the officers for their excellent instructional material.-PR
