Rohri added to railways computerised system

Pakistan Railways has added Rohri to the network of computerised ticketing and reservation system. According to an announcement here on Monday, utilising state-of-the-art fiber optics networking technology.
PR has added Rohri Reservation Office to its on-line computer network increasing the locations to 18. The locations that were already on the network included Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Sukkur, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, National Assembly Secretariat Islamabad, Lahore Cantt, Lahore Headquarters, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Quetta, Hyderabad, Karachi Cantt and Karachi City.
Passenger can now plan and purchase their tickets from any of the above locations to any other station on the network before departing from their originating station, along with the confirmed return tickets. With this facility, passengers can make their travel plans before leaving their station.
To facilitate the passengers, on-line reservations and ticketing offices at Rohri, Sukkur, Lahore-Headquarters, Lahore Cantt, Karachi Cantt, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Hyderabad will now work till 11:00 pm, the announcement adds.
