29 Nov, 2005

The member of the visiting delegation of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and its International Project Manager Rupinder Nandra termed the negative propaganda about the law and order situation in Karachi is unjustified and wrong.
Talking to APP in the signing ceremony of EU-Asia Investment Tripartite Pre-project Agreement between the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the BCCI here on Monday, she said that she had certain fears about the city before reaching here but all her fears and doubts were cleared on visiting the city.
"The people are nice and friendly and everything is pretty normal. There are some stories about the street crimes but that's too normal for every big city in the world", she remarked.
She said the city is beautiful and hoped that her visit would be memorable as the delegation is also visiting Lahore and Islamabad before coming back to Karachi to return home on next Tuesday.
