Visa International and 1 Link (Guarantee) Limited have joined hands for certification switch that will provide a switching solution and connectivity via the Visa Network to Visa's member financial institutions in Pakistan.
The new move was announced on Wednesday at Karachi. It may be recalled that Visa International is world's leading payment brand while 1 Link is the largest shared ATM network of Pakistan.
The partnership will provide an impetus to the growth of Visa Debit in Pakistan as more banks are offering this convenience, security and flexibility of visa debit to their customers.
Visa Debit is a 'use now pay now' product that directly debits cardholders' account and ideally suited to the customers in Pakistan.
A growing number of customers are identifying visa debit as convenient and secure alternative to cash in Pakistan and abroad.
