LNH education programme

Liaquat National Hospital (LNH) Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care is organising its annual "Continued Medical Education (CME)" programme for medical professionals on December 4 from 11 am to 1 pm, at the LNH's Convention Centre Auditorium.
The annual programme is held to enhance the professional knowledge of the Anaesthiologists as the field is evolving fast with new medication, equipment and monitoring facilities. The importance of Anaesthesia could hardly be denied, as it is one of the most important components of treatment, making surgery safer for the patient and easier for the surgeon.
Renowned speakers from LNH and other hospitals would participate in the programme that could update the professionals and impart knowledge and the latest management trends in treating patients.
The speakers would be: Professor Tipu Sultan, Chairman, Department of Anaesthiology, Surgical Intensive Care and Pain Management, Dow University of Medical Sciences, Karachi; Dr Qamar-ul-Huda, Associate Professor and Clinical Director ICU Department of Anaesthesia, Agha Khan University, Karachi; Dr Sabahat, Consultant Anaesthetist, LNH, and Dr Nadeem Naqvi, Consultant Anaesthetist, LNH.
