Vice Chancellor Federal Urdu University, Professor Dr Syed Iqbal Mohsin on Thursday denied reports about unrest in the varsity and said tussle among faculty members on administrative affairs had been resolved.
Talking to APP, he said matters had been resolved and students were ready to attend classes as per schedule. To a question, he said postponement of one-week study visit of the students of Business Administration Programme to Karachi caused boycott of the classes.
He met with students of varsity today and convinced them to attend classes and assured to solve their problems at the earliest, he added.
Vice Chancellor said a list of 30-member delegation of students was handed over to concerned department few days back for study tour of students to Karachi but the officials of department refused to grant permission to some students due to non-payment of fees.
