Reference against Wattoo adjourned to December 21

An accountability court adjourned to December 21 the proceedings in a reference against former Chief Minister Punjab Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo as patwari failed to produce concerned record before the court.
The court directed the patwari to produce concerned record on next date of hearing positively and rose for the day.
The accused has been facing the charges of allotting a commercial plot to his favourite as chairman Lahore Development Authority in relaxation of rules and regulations and caused damage to the public exchequers in millions of rupees.
The court also adjourned another reference against former provincial minister Khush Akhtar Subhani and MNA Abdul Sattar Warriyo as prosecution did not appear before the court.
Both accused have been facing the charges of corruption and making illegal assets in excess of their income. They have also been facing the charges of misuse of their offices and using their political influence to unlawful deeds of their favourites.
