The railway station intersection will be redesigned and modernised in the light of heavy volume of traffic. In a meeting, Madina Town Nazim Chaudhry Ali Akhtar said the traffic blockade at the railway station intersection had become an order of the day, and there was a dire need to change the design of busy intersections for a smooth flow of traffic.
The Nazim said the busy Abdullahpur Intersection and its dual carriageway towards the city and Gatwala would also be redesigned, and Jaranwala Road and Canal Road beautified.
He said traffic police officials have been asked to present their suggestions in this regard so that the plan could be implemented.
